Do I need to seal the cut edges?

Yes, and it matters more than moving up a grade. Every cut exposes the core, and an unsealed edge draws moisture in regardless of how good the panel is. Band it, prime it, or at minimum lacquer the hidden edges.

How is this different from the Club 710 Marine panel?

Both are IS 710. The waterproof line is positioned for wet-area joinery with high load bearing; the marine hardwood line emphasises the hardwood core for permanently damp and structural use. For a kitchen base run either will serve — tell us the load and we will confirm.

Can I use it outdoors?

In semi-covered locations, yes, provided every edge and face is sealed and it is not in permanent direct weather. For a fully exposed application you need a purpose-made exterior panel, not interior plywood.

Club 710 waterproof plywood is an IS 710 marked panel under licence 9300118710, built with a 100% Gurjan face veneer to marine ply grade and a matte-ply construction.
