Does a higher grade mean a stronger panel?

No. Grade describes the adhesive's resistance to moisture at the glue line, not load capacity. For strength, look at thickness, core construction and span rather than grade.

Do I need to seal the cut edges?

Yes, and it matters more than moving up a grade. Every cut exposes the core, and an unsealed edge draws moisture in regardless of how good the panel is. Band it, prime it, or at minimum lacquer the hidden edges.

Is marine BWR the same as IS 710 marine?

No, and the distinction matters. This panel is marked BWR under IS 303. A true marine grade panel is marked under IS 710, which is a stricter boil-test standard. For permanently wet locations specify an IS 710 panel from our marine range.
